Hello my beautiful friends. My journey to finding balance continues, this blog is not about someone who has already lost all the weight & is feeling happy & healthy already. This blog is about me a person who has been struggling for a while with restricting at times and over eating other days. I'm looking for balance & looking for something that works for me.
Most mornings recently I have hit that snoozed button, and skipped my workout. I have decided to sleep in instead of going to get my workout completed. I have step up in that scale every morning and see it go up and have allowed it to control the way I feel thru out the day. I have then later on thru the day ate what I wanted & have that cookie or chocolate because it feels like it won't make a difference. I sometimes wonder if there's anyone else out there feeling the same way.
Balance is what I want & strive for. It's hard to be so open about how I feel because I feel exposed. It is also the reason why I decided to share & start blogging. I want to document my way to finding balance in my life. I know I will get to it at some point & I never want to forget how hard it has been for me. I gain weight way too quickly and it takes so much of me to lose weight, at the end of the day it shouldn't be about the number on the scale but the way I feel . I want to feel healthy & happy. Confident in my own skin. I want to be as healthy as I can be.
This is about never giving up but instead finding new ways to see what works for me. Today I will be starting something completely different. I'm excited & nervous to commit to something new. Today I'm starting 21 day fix by beachbody, I'm sure most of you know about these workout dvds, which promise to show amazing results if you follow their plan.
I choose this plan because I believe in eating the right foods & working out to stay & be healthy. Its not a crash diet where you can eat from all food groups & its designed to help balance your meals & get enough from all food groups. For the next 21 days I will be working out every single day completing a 30 day workout & the last 7 days I will be doing 2 workouts 30 min each. I will be using my color containers to track my foods and help me with portion control (which we all know I need). I will be documenting my journey & my experience to share with you guys. There will be updates & what I eat in a day coming up.
Do I believe this is the solution to it all and It will transform my body completely. NO, I do not. I believe that this program can help me get closer to balance & start get my mind started on the right way. I believe that it can teach me about portion control, and pushing my limits & I believe it can be the start of something amazing. If I love it, I would want to try to do this 2-3 round since I know that's the way to get the maximum results.
For the next 21 days I will be focusing on me & my goal to be a better & healthier version of myself . I will behaving to say "NO" to many things and social events ( unless I can bring my food with me)
I can't wait to show you guys my struggles & accomplishments through my 21 dya fix journey.
I will be sharing some "what I eat in a day" blogs based on the 21 day fix. I do not promise to be perfect specially the no creamer on my coffee. I do promise to try my best & not give up.
So wish me luck because I need it & stay tuned to see how this works for me.
- stay positive
xoxo. Karla
