Always say YES to Dessert!!

Hello my beautiful friends! If you have been skipping on desserts & not treating yourself in order to lose weight or stay healthy guess what? You no longer have to do that, Always say YES to dessert my friends, ALWAYS. Life is too short, live a little & treat yourself. I can assure you by having some delicious desserts it will help you to avoid craving other foods, and you won't feel restricted. Ok so whose ready to get started, does it sound too good to be true? Well I promise you it is true. Not only are these 3 delicious desserts but also they are very easy to make, all of them are about 3 ingredients only. Yes skip on the cake, donuts & ice cream, its full of sugar and have no nutrients for you (empty calories) . Instead say yes to healthy ice cream, oatmeal cookies & delicious apples/ pear dessert.

Here's the items that you will need

two bananas, a handful of raisins & 1 cup of quick oats to make oatmeal cookies

1 apple, 1 pear, cinnamon, a pinch of salt & coconut oil ( I doubled this recipe)

cacao powder, two frozen bananas & scoop of peanut butter for your guilt free ice cream

Okay are  your ready to say YES to dessert in a couple of minutes?
For oatmeal cookies preheat your oven to350 degrees, mix all ingredients in bowl ( smash bananas)  & make your cookies as small or big as you want, bake for 15 min, let them cool down & enjoy !

You can enjoy these for breakfast cookies, or take them on the go for a delicious snack, or of course for dessert.

Now for the fruits, cut up the apple & pear in thin slices, you can choose to peel your fruit but I love to keep the peal for extra fiber, add coconut oil to your taste in a pan and sauté your fruits add cinnamon and the pinch of salt. For extra sweetness you can add bit of coconut sugar, YUM!
Such a great dessert, but also it would taste great on top of oatmeal for breakfast.

Okay ladies last but not least. I do have to say the ice cream was my favorite, but then again when isn't ice cream the best right? this was the mot satisfying dessert and it just seemed like the perfect thing to have while you watch a movie or if your craving chocolate. it was super tasty & had great texture, for next time I will try to add a bit of almond milk as well to see how it turns out. For your guilt free ice cream just add all ingredients in the blender & blend away.

I don't think the pictures do this ice cream justice so please give it a try, & thank me later.

Okay girls I hope you guys try these recipes out and remember balance & happiness is everything. Don't feel guilty having these desserts once in a while as you can see they are made from whole ingredients. Please let me know which one is your favorite if you try them.
-stay happy
xoxo karla.

What I ate Wednesday!

Welcome to What I ate Wednesday! Today I will be sharing what I ate throughout the day. Honestly I have not been eating as well and as healthy as I normally do. Today I wanted to start getting back on track and decided to document everything that I ate. Minus the snacks which honestly were not too interesting, just one apple & one granola bar.I hope you guys enjoy!     I need coffee to start my day!     Okay so most of us should know the best way to start our day would be with warm water & lemon, but what can I say I love coffee. Starting my day with a warm cup of coffee, dash of creamer & almond milk.     Breakfast, I'm usually on such a rush in the  morning so it helps out to throw whatever fruits I have available & take a smoothie to drink on the go. For today's smoothie I had tons of fruit available, I did 1 cup of almond milk & 1 cup of water, added strawberries & blueberries a banana...
