Stay hydrated with 3 easy recipes

Hello my beautiful friends! I have talked about the importance of water in previous posts & how I keep up with my water intake. Believe me i'm not perfect with water intake there's days where I forget or just not too interested in drinking plain boring water. This is why I love to plan ahead and purchase 3 ingredients that make delicious infused water. All you need is berries, lemon & cucumbers. If you guys haven't had infused water you are missing out, it will make your water have so much flavor & it just feels so refreshing.
There are great benefits of having infused waters as well. The biggest benefit I have seen is just since it looks pretty & it has a taste I actually tend to drink it more thru out my day. I would love to share with you guys how you can mix & match these ingredients and make different combinations with great benefits. You can defiantly get fancier than this but this is what works for me because its easy to make, with ingredients that I tend to have at home already

We have berries with lemon
Lemon with cucumber &
cucumber with berries

& I think my favorite part was how different they taste by mixing them with a different ingredient. Ofcourse the 4th option could be to do one with the 3 ingredients. All you need is to cut up slices of cucumbers & lemon, and a handful of berries (I used frozen).

Cucumber
 - Flushes toxins
- Fights inflammation
-Aids digestion

Limes
-Flushes toxins
-aids digestion
-boosts the immune system
-Rejuvenates skin

Berries
-Rich in antioxidants
- & also fight inflammation & flushes toxins

As you can see they tend to have very similar benefits so mixing them together its great for your body. Now no excuses, Drink your water.

-Stay hydrated
xoxo karla.

What I ate Wednesday!

Welcome to What I ate Wednesday! Today I will be sharing what I ate throughout the day. Honestly I have not been eating as well and as healthy as I normally do. Today I wanted to start getting back on track and decided to document everything that I ate. Minus the snacks which honestly were not too interesting, just one apple & one granola bar.I hope you guys enjoy!     I need coffee to start my day!     Okay so most of us should know the best way to start our day would be with warm water & lemon, but what can I say I love coffee. Starting my day with a warm cup of coffee, dash of creamer & almond milk.     Breakfast, I'm usually on such a rush in the  morning so it helps out to throw whatever fruits I have available & take a smoothie to drink on the go. For today's smoothie I had tons of fruit available, I did 1 cup of almond milk & 1 cup of water, added strawberries & blueberries a banana...

Do the best you can   until you know better. Then when you know better, do better.  Hello my beautiful friends!! It's been so long since I've felt inspired to write again. My life has changed so much recently & thankfully only for the better. I have found it hard to share my new journey only because more than anything I respect each and every one of you & the decision you guys make. By sharing my journey & thoughts I hope that you always remember I come from a place of love & only sharing my journey with you.   I have written this many times during the last 6 months & can't bring myself to find the right words, in ways that makes it easier to understand. I realized its a sensitive topic & I understand that but it's part of who I'm now & if you love to keep reading I would appreciate it but if you don't I understand it.     I feel like I've always been exposed to vegetarian food, vegan foods and mea...
